Our Beliefs
We are a non-denominational, bible-based congregation in Malaysia. We strive to keep focus on Jesus with every individual member being dedicated to pursuing and maintaining a close relationship with God. We believe Jesus, full of grace and truth, is the only way to come into that relationship with God, and our teaching is centered on his life, his death, his resurrection, his teaching and his calling to follow him.Our Beliefs
In addition to believing that the Bible is the standard of our lives, we emphasize the need for one-another relationships where deep friendships and a strong sense of family can be developed and maintained. Whether in one-on-one, small group or congregational settings, we use these relationships to encourage each other in what we hold to be both the greatest commandment and our greatest desire-loving God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit …”
– Matthew 28:19
God
There is one God of three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:18-20).
Truth
Jesus as the only Way, Truth and Life (John 14:6).
The Bible
The Bible as the only Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17), and that we should therefore be devoted to His Word.
Forgiveness
Repentance and Baptism are necessary for the forgiveness of sins and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38).
Salvation
Salvation is by grace through faith, not by works (Ephesians 2:8).
Jesus is our Lord
Jesus must be the Lord of our time, money and relationships (Luke 14:25-33).
Love God
We are to love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength (Mark 12:28-30).
Love our neighbour
We are to love our neighbor as ourselves (Mark 12:28-31, 1 Peter 1:22)
The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
– Mark 12:31
