Deuteronomy 6:6–7 (NIV)
6 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

The Jew’s Parents are highly respected in how they in still God’s word on their child in an early stage

Jew Kids early exposure
1.Started memorizing and studying scripture when they are 6 Yrs old.
2.By 10 yrs old they would have memorized all the Torah
3.Attend school 5 days with Torah (first 5 books of the bible) as the main text book
4.First day at school, Rabbi cover the Slates with honey, And then he would say, “Now class, lick the honey off the slate and off your fingers.”

The rabbi would continue by saying, “May the words of God be sweet to your taste, sweeter than honey to your mouth” (Psalm 119:103).

Paul wrote of Timothy
Paul wrote of Timothy about how as a child, even from an infant, Timothy had been instructed in the Word by his Jewish mother
2 Timothy 1:5 (NIV)
[5] I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.

What does the scriptures meant to us as a disciple of Jesus in today’s life?

God’s word is beautiful, powerful, soulful, etc.

“ The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.” Isaiah 40:8
“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.” Matthew 24:35
“How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word..” Psalm 119:9
