Genesis 1:31a
And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good.

1. From Thorns to Cure

2 Corinthians 12:7b - 8

My unhealthy Pattern though my spiritual journey
a) Presses - Current pain presses on past pain which is buried within soul
b) Amplifies - Undealt past pains amplifies the pain of current situation, causing me to overreact
c) Addictive - Unconsciously guard against more pain or medicate with addiction behaviors

2 Corinthians 12:9
[8] Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. [9] But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. (NIV)

9 But his answer was: “My grace is all you need, for my power is greatest when you are weak.” I am most happy, then, to be proud of my weaknesses, in order to feel the protection of Christ's power over me. (GNT)
